WHO: Vaccinations only effective when administered universally

Vaccinations are only effective when done universally, Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
Ghebreyesus urged all countries not to postpone vaccination, as new strains of the coronavirus would otherwise appear.
"In this case, the vaccines that we used may become useless," the official warned.
He stressed that the lack of drugs in developing countries would create problems for wealthy countries.
Therefore, Ghebreyesus urged the authorities to explain to their citizens that to protect themselves from the virus, it is necessary to vaccinate not only them but the inhabitants of the countries of 'the rest of the world.'
