Azerbaijan announces weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded 156 new coronavirus cases over the past week, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
234 people infected with COVID-19 recovered, six died.
Overall, the country has reported 833,955 cases of infection, 823,439 recoveries, and 10,353 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 163 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past week, 3,415 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,699,775 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
No one was vaccinated in the country during the past week. The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,969,897.
