Modern medical center opens in Azerbaijan's Khankandi

On June 25, the official opening ceremony of the Khankandi Medical Center was held in the city of Khankandi, Azerbaijan, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankandi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, told Report.

It was noted that the event was attended by employees of the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankandi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, members of the medical community, and visitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Special Representative of the President, Sabuhi Gahramanov, gave information about the reconstruction and development works carried out in the liberated territories and the measures taken to provide the population with quality healthcare services. He emphasized the importance of developing the private healthcare sector in the region.

It was reported that the Khankandi Medical Center, equipped with modern medical devices, will provide services in outpatient care, laboratory diagnostics, dentistry, psychology, pediatrics, cardiology, gynecology, and other medical fields. Later, the visitors viewed the facilities created at the center.

It was also highlighted that the launch of the medical center will contribute significantly to increasing access to healthcare services in the region, creating new jobs, and supporting the socio‑economic development of Karabakh.

As part of the event, a scientific‑practical conference was also held. Presentations on healthcare development and the organization of modern medical services were delivered, followed by panel discussions.
