Union leader: Middle Corridor has become world's safest logistics route

Over the past decade, the Middle Corridor has become the world's safest logistics route, stated by Afsaladdin Aghalarov, Chairman of the "Support to Socio-Economic Development of Youth" Public Union, during the panel discussion of the 1st Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan NGO Cooperation Forum held within the framework of the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Baku on May 16, Report ifnorms.

According to him, a common concept is needed to ensure cooperation among NGOs of Turkic states:

"For example, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are located in different but complementary parts of the same logistics chain in the context of the Middle Corridor. Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are two important key countries of the corridor stretching from China to Europe. In this regard, it is essential to have a common concept to ensure cooperation among NGOs of Turkic states."

He then touched upon the impact of environmental problems on urbanization rules:

"Due to environmental problems, urbanization rules are changing, and ecological advantages determine the future development model of cities. In this regard, Kyrgyzstan's NGOs can learn from the experience of Azerbaijan's NGOs. In Azerbaijan, the urbanization process is directly ensured through state programs. For example, regional development programs in Azerbaijan have a significant impact on the urbanization process. City management infrastructure and international event experience in this regard underscore the importance of Azerbaijan's NGOs."
