Foreign Minister: "Azerbaijan has a freedom of speech"

Baku. 30 June. REPORT.AZ/ "Azerbaijan has freedom of speech and journalists are not arrested for their activities."
Report informs, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at today’s joint press conference with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, commenting on situation of basic freedoms and media freedom in Azerbaijan.
"Personally, as Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, every day I am a witness of the freedom of press, despite the fact that some journalists sometimes disorder ethical rules", the minister stated.
