Envoy: May Turkey-Azerbaijan brotherhood last forever

The Shusha Declaration was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Ilham Aliyev, which transferred Turkey-Azerbaijan relations from a strategic level to an allied one, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci tweeted, Report informs.
“Congratulations on the 30th anniversary of Turkey’s diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan, may our brotherhood last forever,” he wrote.
January 14 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. Turkey became the first state to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan on November 9, 1991. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on January 14, 1992.
