The Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan will not provide services on August 14, Report says, citing the diplomatic mission.
The reason for the suspension of work is the national day of Pakistan, annually celebrated on August 1.
Independence Day commemorates the day when Pakistan achieved independence and was declared a sovereign state following the end of the British Raj in 1947. Pakistan came into existence as a result of the Pakistan Movement, which aimed to create an independent Muslim state in the north-western regions of South Asia via partition.
