Azerbaijan's ambassador visits Heydar Aliyev monument in Belgrade

Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Serbia Tahir Taghizada has visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Belgrade.
According to Report's Balkan bureau, following the presentation of his credentials to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the newly appointed ambassador visited the monument in Tasmajdan Park together with Military Attache Elmeddin Hasanov and embassy staff.
Taghizade, Hasanov and embassy employees laid flowers at the monument.
They then visited the monument to prominent Serbian writer Milorad Pavic and the "We Were Just Children" memorial, dedicated to children killed during the 1999 bombing of Belgrade. Flowers were also laid at both memorials.
Earlier in the day, Taghizade presented his credentials to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Palace of Serbia.
Before his appointment to Serbia, Taghizada served as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary.
