IMF: Azerbaijan’s economy will grow by 2.3% this year

Azerbaijan’s economy is expected to grow by 2.3% in 2021, 1.7% in 2022, Report informs, citing IMF Global Economic Outlook.
According to Outlook, Azerbaijan’s economy shrank 4.3% last year.
Moreover, the IMF stated that the annual inflation rate in Azerbaijan will be 3.5% in 2021, 3.2% in 2022, while it was 2.8% in 2020.
The Fund also forecasts a 5.8% decline in the unemployment rate this year, 5.7% in 2021. Last year, this figure was 6.5%.
