Trump says Iran wants to reach deal with US

Iran wants to reach an agreement with the United States amid the ongoing conflict between the two countries, US President Donald Trump said in an interview with NewsNation.

According to Report, Trump said Iran was currently seeking a deal, adding that he would not even consider an agreement if it was the wrong one. He attributed Iran's position to the fact that it was "losing in every way."

Asked about his recent remarks regarding the possibility of "destroying" Iran and further military action against Tehran, Trump said that it remained to be seen what would happen.

A day earlier, in an interview with Axios, the US president said that the war with Iran had entered a decisive stage, with a decision to be made on whether to resume large-scale attacks to bring the conflict to an end.
