Central Bank of Azerbaijan increases discount rate

The Management Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) increased the discount rate by 0.25 percentage points from 7.75% to 8%.

Report informs that the lower limit of the interest rate corridor has been increased by one percentage point to 5%, and the upper limit has been set at 9.25%.

The next decision of the CBA Board on the parameters of the interest corridor will be announced on December 16.
