Central Bank: POS-terminals continue to decrease in Azerbaijan

Baku. 11 July. REPORT.AZ/ In May of this year, total number of POS-terminals in Azerbaijan decreased by 0.02% or 15 units and made 73 945 to June 1.
Report was told in the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the information, compared to the beginning of the year, the figure dropped 6 356 units or by 7,92%. Compared to the same period last year, 5,59% or 4 379 decrease observed.
42 708 units or 57,8% of existing POS-terminals across the country locate in Baku, 42.2% or 31 237 units in the regions.
Notably, as of June 1, 2016, 1 POS-terminal accounted for 130 people in Azerbaijan.
