Budget transfers from customs authorities up 23% in Azerbaijan

In January-February 2023, the budget transfers from the State Customs Committee (SCC) amounted to 1,008.889 million manats ($0.59 billion), up 22.9%, from January-February 2022, Report informs, citing the Committee.
In the reporting period, the revenues from customs duties increased by 23.6% to 241.928 million manats ($142.31 million), from value-added tax (VAT) by 21.6% to 728.408 million manats ($428.48 million), from excise taxes went up by 66% to 29.761 million manats ($17.51 million), and from road tax grew 4.8% to 8.793 million manats ($5.17 million).
