Azerbaijan's non-oil sector turnover up by over 10%

Last year, the volume of turnover in the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan increased by over 10.2%, VAT turnover - over 10.6%, and electronic invoice turnover - over 15.6%, Orkhan Nazarli, head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, said at the forum on "Tax system in the new development period: strategic goals for a sustainable economy" in Baku, Report informs.
"In 2023, the turnover volume of new generation cash registers, which play an important role in the transparency of transactions, reached 22 billion manats ($13 billion)," he added.
