Average monthly salary in Baku up over 13%

In January-July 2022, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers was 1,071.8 ($630.47) manats (+13.1%), Report informs, citing the Baku City Statistics Department.

In the first half of the year, the average monthly nominal salary in Baku was 1,065.7 manats ($626.88).

In January-July 2022, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan's economy increased by 14.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 831.3 manats ($489). The average monthly nominal salary was higher in the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as information and communication sectors of the economy.
