70.2 USD million sold to 20 banks at today’s auction

Baku. 27 September. REPORT.AZ/ 20 commercial banks based in Azerbaijan participated at today’s foreign currency auction held by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) jointly with the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic (SOFAZ).
Report informs referring to the CBA.
According to the report, the banks' aggregate demand made 70.2 million USD, and it was satisfied.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan auctioned 50 million USD, SOFAZ – 100 mln. USD.
The fund has informed Report, 61.4 million USD sold to 19 banks. In other words, Central Bank has provided only one bank with 8.8 mln. USD.
