Azerbaijan ready to share urban planning experience at COP31

Azerbaijan can share its experience in urban planning at COP31, Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev said.
According to Report, he made the remarks during a panel session titled "Advancing the Urban Dimension of Climate Action: From WUF13 to COP31" held as part of Baku Climate Action Week 2026.
According to Rafiyev, cities are directly affected by climate change.
"The impact of climate change on cities will also be given considerable attention at COP31, which will be held in Türkiye. Experts and representatives of various countries will share their views on urban planning. Azerbaijan is also ready to share its experience in this area, as the country has successful practices in urban planning," he said.
