Transit oil transportation via BTC grows about 46%

Azerbaijan transported 5,800,500 tonnes of oil via the main pipelines in January-February 2021, down 7.5% from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Statistics Committee.
Some 76.5 percent of transportation operations were carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline. The pipeline transported 4,437,200 tonnes of oil, down 11.8% from the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the volume of transit oil via BTC amounted to 393,100 tonnes (a 45.7 percent increase).
