The main purpose of cooperation between companies and technology partners in the oil and gas industry is no longer only to comply with regulatory requirements, but to create added value.
Report informs that Sumaya Tebbi, Head of Strategic Emissions Reduction Initiatives at Baker Hughes, said this during panel discussions held at the Baku Expo Center as part of the 31st Caspian Oil and Gas International Exhibition in Baku.
According to her, cooperation between energy companies and technology providers plays an important role in the successful implementation of projects.
"If we had discussed this topic five years ago, the main focus would have been on compliance with requirements and carrying out measurements. Today, however, the main goal is to create value. Companies expect from strategic partners not only services, but also solutions that bring additional benefits to the business. Cooperation with a technology partner is not just about providing a service. The main issue here is creating added value," she stressed.
According to the guest, one of the key components of successful cooperation is sharing expert knowledge and practical experience alongside technology.
"Companies need not only technology, but also expertise in its application. It is precisely this approach that makes it possible to build long-term and effective partnerships," she said.
