"The volcanic eruption occurred at night. So, providing information immediately after the incident can lead to inaccuracies," said Rasim Sattarzadeh, Head of the Environmental Policy Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Report informs.
"I do not think that the official statement by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources about the incident was late," he said.
