Five killed in landmine explosion near T-4 airbase in Syria

Five people have been killed in a landmine explosion near the T-4 military airbase in Syria's Homs Governorate.
According to Report, citing the provincial press service, Syrian army engineering units discovered the victims' bodies during a routine sweep of the Homs–Palmyra highway.
Preliminary information indicates that the victims had illegally entered an area near the airbase several days earlier and were killed after triggering a landmine.
The statement also noted that on June 27, a child was killed and two other children were injured in a separate landmine explosion in the same area.
