Azerbaijan starts importing cocoa powder from Sweden 

Azerbaijan imported 1,040 tons of cocoa powder worth $3.694 million in January-November 2022, up 21% and 28%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Below is the list of countries that exported cocoa powder to Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

- Türkiye – 664 tons (+4.1%) - $2.513 million (+14%);
- Côte d'Ivoire – 91 tons (+140 times) - $293,000 (+65 times);
- The Netherlands - 80.41 tons (+2.6 times) - $288,440 (+2.1 times);
- Russia – 83.5 tons (-40%) - $286,000 (-25.5%);
- China – 58 tons (+6.4 times) - $93,500 (+7.2 times).

For the first time since 2011 (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are as of 2011), Azerbaijan imported 120 kg of cocoa powder worth $1,440 from Sweden.
