Azerbaijan sees growth in maritime cargo transportation

In January-May 2023, 1,132,706 tons of cargo worth $736,871 were transported by sea, respectively, up 93.9% and fourfold from the previous year, Report informs, citing State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, 30,484 tons of cargo (+23%) worth $ 66,510,000 (+3 times) were exported, while 1,102,221 tons of cargo (+4.2 times) worth $670,820,000 (+87.1%) were imported by sea.
