Georgia and Azerbaijan discuss strategic partnership

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Faig Guliyev, according to Report's local bureau.

During the meeting, Guliyev introduced Georgia's defense minister to the country's new defense attaché, Colonel Arzu Hasanov.

The sides emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan for regional security.

They also discussed ongoing and planned issues within the framework of bilateral and trilateral cooperation in the defense sector.
