Azerbaijan starts supplying bananas from another country

During the first five months of this year, 25,397 tons (+9.3%) of bananas worth $18.19 million (+9.3%) were brought to Azerbaijan from abroad, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

25,395 tons (+9.3%) worth $18.185 million (+9.3%) were exported from Ecuador, 0.85 tons worth $4.99 thousand (no delivery a year ago) from the Philippines, 0.04 tons worth $0.26 thousand from Vietnam, and 0.01 tons (unchanged) worth $0.04 thousand (+33.3%) from Germany.

This year, for the first time in the last 11 years (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are up to 2011), supplies were made from Vietnam.
