Eljan Hasanov loses at U17 Wrestling World Championships

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Eljan Hasanov has lost his opening bout at the U17 Wrestling World Championships in Baku.

According to Report, the athlete competing in the 60 kg weight category was defeated 3:2 by Poland's Witold Pawlik in the round of 16.

The U17 Wrestling World Championships are being held at the National Gymnastics Arena. Nearly 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries are taking part in the competition. Azerbaijan is represented by 29 wrestlers at the tournament.
