Azerbaijan"s non-life insurance payouts grow 14.5%

Non-life insurance premiums in Azerbaijan totaled 350.947 million manat, about $206.4 million, in January-June 2026, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, CBA.
This is 2.5% more than in the same period of 2025.
During the reporting period, payouts on non-life insurance rose by 14.5% to 147.634 million manat, about $86.8 million.
Thus, in the first six months of the year, 42.1 manat was paid out to clients for every 100 manat collected in non-life insurance premiums. A year earlier, the figure was 37.7 manat.
In January-June 2026, Azerbaijan's 16 insurance companies collected 867.396 million manat, about $510.2 million, in premiums, up 6.2% year-on-year.
Payouts by insurance companies amounted to 549.682 million manat, about $323.3 million, during the reporting period, an increase of 27.2% compared with the same period last year.
In the first six months of the year, 63.4 manat was paid out for every 100 manat collected in the insurance market. In the same period last year, the figure was 52.9 manat.
