In January, passenger traffic at Turkish airports exceeded 5.227 million people (3.366 million for domestic and 1.858 million for international flights), Report informs, referring to Anadolu Agency.
Last month, Turkey’s airports served 73,734 flights (40,055 on domestic and 19,772 on international routes), according to the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI).
In January, the total volume of cargo transportation was 187,141 tons by air, including 36,715 tons on domestic flights, and 150,426 tons on international flights.
Turkey’s biggest airport, Istanbul Airport, last month served 15,074 flights: 3,692 on domestic and 11,382 on international routes.
