Israel is resuming flights with all countries from March 16, according to the press service of the country’s Foreign Ministry, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.
No more than 3,000 people will be able to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport per day. In addition, passengers will have to respect social distance, as well as take coronavirus tests right at the airport.
The Israeli Ministry of Health will retain the right to cancel any flight that could endanger the health of the population.
Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv has been closed since the end of January 2021 to prevent coronavirus mutations from entering the country.
Earlier it was reported that Israel may open borders for tourists in the summer.
