Georgia's tourism revenues fell by $3 billion in 2020 due to the pandemic, which is a huge amount for the country's economy, said Koba Gvenetadze, President of the National Bank.
He said Georgia's tourism sector was worst hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Gvenetadze, the recovery of tourism-dependent countries may take longer than expected.
