Azerbaijan promotes tourism potential at series of events in Germany

Azerbaijan Tourism Board, operating under the State Tourism Agency, presented the country's tourism opportunities at a series of events held in the German cities of Wuerzburg, Frankfurt and Trier on April 20-22.

Report informs citing the agency as saying that Azerbaijan was promoted as an attractive year-round tourism destination at the events, which brought together more than 100 tourism companies and tour operators.

Attendees were given detailed information about city tours, cultural tourism, Silk Road heritage, mountain hiking routes and winter tourism opportunities, while B2B meetings were also held.

Participation in the events served as an important platform for discussing new cooperation opportunities with representatives of Germany's tourism industry and for further strengthening Azerbaijan's position in that market.

The number of visitors arriving in Azerbaijan from Germany rose 76.5% year-on-year to 5,024 in January-March 2026.
