First int'l Turkic Cup 2026 futsal tournament begins in Astana

The first international futsal tournament of the Organization of Trade Unions of Turkic States, TURKIC CUP 2026, has kicked off in Astana, Kazakhstan, Report informs.

Trade union teams from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan are participating in the competition.

The tournament is taking place on September 3–4 at the Sairan Arena. The teams will play in a round-robin format, after which the winner and medalists of the competition will be determined.

TURKIC CUP 2026 aims to strengthen international trade union cooperation, friendship, and solidarity among Turkic states. The event is organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Organization of Trade Unions of Turkic States brings together over 15 million trade union members and represents the interests of approximately 48 million workers. The closing and award ceremonies for the tournament will take place on September 4.
