Minister: High pensions granted on fake documents being cancelled in Azerbaijan

"The high pensions granted on the basis of fake documents and payment of nearly 60-80 million manats for the past period have been prevented," Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship on November 10 to discuss documents included in the 2022 state budget envelope.
Report informs that the minister said the centralization of archival documents is also being carried out: “In this context, all falsified cases on high pensions are being eliminated. The unemployment insurance fund for the next year is projected at 180 million manats. This is an increase of 14% compared to 2021,” the minister added.
