The countries that Moscow counted on a week ago have already joined the anti-war coalition of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video message posted on the Telegram channel of the president's office, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
"Throughout this time, we have united Europe, we have united countries of the European Union already at a new level. Higher than formal. Higher than interstate. At the level of ordinary people. Millions, millions of Europeans. From the Atlantic to the suburbs of Kharkiv, where fierce battles are continuing. When the European Parliament, standing, applauded us yesterday, it applauded each of us, our struggle, it was an assessment of our efforts, our unification. Six days of the war - like thirty years," the president noted.
Therefore, the European Union is saying “yes” to Ukraine, Zelensky added.
"We have launched a special accelerated accession procedure. Our diplomats and our friends are uniting the world for the sake of Ukraine and the world even more. Neutral Switzerland supported EU sanctions against Russian oligarchs, officials, against the state itself and companies. Once again: neutral Switzerland! So what are some other countries waiting for? Those countries that Moscow counted on a week ago have already joined our anti-war coalition. This is an extraordinary result. Now one cannot remain neutral!" Zelensky stressed.
