Yasar Guler: 'It is unacceptable for our NATO allies to impose restrictions on Türkiye'

It is unacceptable that our NATO allies impose restrictions on Türkiye, Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Güler told journalists within the framework of the meeting of NATO defense ministers held in Brussels, Report informs.

He said that despite Türkiye's contributions to NATO, export restrictions are applied: “These have a negative impact not only on our security but also on NATO's security. As Türkiye, we will continue to contribute to the security of NATO and the European-Atlantic space.”

Guler also noted that his country will continue the fight against PKK/YPG, FETO, ISIS, Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations: “We also talked about this during the meeting. We said that we expect support from our allies in this direction. There can be no excuse for supporting the PKK/YPG terrorist organization.”
