Ukrainian Presidential Office: Zelensky-Putin meeting needed to end war

"Negotiations are needed between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war," Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, said, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

"We must first prove our fighting ability. And we have already done that. We also need to convince Russia that it will lose a lot, not only in economic terms but also on the battlefield. This way, it will be easier to defend our position at the negotiating table. Because we are not the attacker, we are under attack," he said.

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly said he is ready to meet with Putin. According to him, the only force that can stop the war is Putin.
