Turkish, Georgian defense ministers discuss situation in region

Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has met Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, Report informs.

The ministers discussed the issues of cooperation between the two countries, military-technical issues, education and organization of joint military exercises.

The sides also discussed the current situation in the region. They stressed the importance of both bilateral and trilateral cooperation in ensuring and maintaining peace and security in the region.
