Israeli army says Hezbollah militants killed in southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces said Hezbollah fighters who had planned drone attacks on positions held by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon were killed, Report informs.

According to the army's press service, the Israeli Air Force, with support from fighters of the Commando Brigade operating under the command of the 36th Division, identified Hezbollah members hiding near the security zone in southern Lebanon and using explosive-laden drones.

The military said the fighters had launched an explosive drone at an area where Israeli forces were stationed in the village of Tebnit and were later neutralized in a retaliatory airstrike.
