Turkish defense minister meets Pakistani president

Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar has met with President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi, Report informs referring to the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey.
Akar congratulated Alvi on the day of Pakistani independence. During the meeting, the parties discussed relations between the two countries, as well as prospects for cooperation. The minister also said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had invited his Pakistani counterpart to Turkey.
