Third meeting of Türkiye-Germany Strategic Dialogue Mechanism to be held in Berlin

The third meeting of the Strategic Dialogue Mechanism between Türkiye and Germany will be held on May 18.

Report informs, citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry, that the talks will take place in Berlin under the co-chairmanship of the two countries' foreign ministers, Hakan Fidan and Johann Wadephul.

"In this regard, Hakan Fidan will pay an official visit to Germany," the statement said.

As part of the third meeting of the Strategic Dialogue Mechanism, working group meetings are planned on the topics of "Bilateral Relations," "Relations between Türkiye and the European Union," "Security and Defence," and "Regional Issues."

"During the talks between Hakan Fidan and Johann Wadephul, in addition to bilateral relations, Türkiye"s ties with the EU, as well as international and regional issues, will be discussed. The parties will also assess opportunities for further cooperation," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
