Russia reports over 4.7 million recoveries from COVID-19

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 8,832 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,090,249.
Currently, 265,383 Russians are undergoing treatment to beat the viral disease.
To date, a total of 122,267 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 394 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 4,702,599.
More than 171.9 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 3.57 million lives, though unable to cope with 154.4 million patients, who managed to recover.
