Russia opens consulate in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Moscow has decided to open a consulate in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Report informs, citing TASS.
"In the very near future we will start providing consular services in the northern part of the city of Nicosia," the news agency reports the source in the embassy as saying.
According to the data obtained, more than 50,000 Russian citizens live in the north of the island.
