Russia approves unmanned aircraft development strategy until 2030

Within 6.5 years, Russia should create a new branch of the economy related to the creation and use of civilian drones, according to the strategy for the development of unmanned aircraft until 2030, approved by the government, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The document identifies five key areas: stimulating demand for domestic unmanned aerial systems, developing and mass-producing such systems, as well as creating large production centers, developing infrastructure, including the construction of airfields, heliports and promising drone ports, training personnel for unmanned aircraft, fundamental and promising research in the field of unmanned aerial systems.
