Armenia can derive significant benefits from the post-conflict situation in the region, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a press conference in Bishkek following the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and meetings with foreign leaders, Report informs.
Russian leader stressed that Armenia's current leadership's decision to recognize Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan may also carry positive aspects:
"This situation allows us to turn the page and move forward without conflict. It opens the way to unlocking infrastructure, starting anew in the economy, opening borders for investment, and more. In fact, the advantages are numerous," Putin underlined.
