Pashinyan: Armenia, thanks to peace with Azerbaijan, entered new stage

Armenia has entered a completely new era in its history thanks to the establishment of peace with Azerbaijan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on September 20, speaking at the congress of the ruling Civil Contract party, Report informs. "This peace was established on August 8 in Washington with the participation and support of US President Donald Trump, as well as thanks to the declaration signed by me and the president of Azerbaijan. August 8 is the culmination, the pinnacle of a long process. For one year and seven months, not a single soldier has been killed or wounded in exchanges of fire on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," Pashinyan said. He noted that these one year and seven months should turn into two years and seven months, three years, four years, five years, 50 years, 100 years, 200 years. The prime minister also stated that the ruling party congress will make decisions that will be of key importance for Armenia "for the next 100 years."
