OTS Secretariat tasked to organize Novruz celebrations

An instruction has been given to the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) regarding the celebration of Novruz holiday within the framework of the OTS, Report informs, citing the declaration signed at the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the OTS held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, on May 21

"Expressing the transcultural essence of Novruz, which serves as an intercultural bridge and a symbol of universal values, the determination to transmit the deep richness of Turkic culture and the common values of Turkic peoples to future generations is once again emphasized, and the Secretariat is instructed to celebrate the Novruz holiday within the organization at the initiative of Azerbaijan and OTS member states, as well as the President of Türkiye," the statement said.
