Orban pledges support for Georgia's EU path 'despite Brussels stance'

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has declared that his country will do “everything possible” to help Georgia “stay firmly” on the EU path, regardless of Brussels’ stance, Report informs via GPB.
Speaking at a joint press point with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Orban said Hungary “strongly” defends Georgia’s sovereignty both in bilateral relations and within EU territory.
“We always feel like Georgia’s ally and represent Georgia before the European Union in all the struggles that Georgia fights to defend its sovereignty and independence,” the Hungarian leader stated.
