"NATO supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," NATO spokeswoman Oana Lungescu in an interview with Die Welt.
Report informs that, according to Lungescu, the escalation of tensions in eastern Ukraine resulted from Russia's disruptive activities.
"Russia's growing military activity on the border is undermining all efforts to reduce tensions in eastern Ukraine. Russia has violated the ceasefire agreement reached in July 2020," she said.
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian president, said that no one should be concerned about the movement of Russian forces within its territory.
