Military aircraft Bayraktar Kizilelma, UAV Bayraktar Akinci implement parallel flight

Tests of the unmanned military aircraft Bayraktar Kizilelma continue in accordance with the schedule. Bayraktar Kizilelma and Bayraktar Akinci strike UAV flew at a very close distance from each other, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

“Bayraktar Kizilelma, which took off from the Akinci training and testing center in the Corlu region of the northwestern province of Tekirdag, made a parallel flight with the Bayraktar Akinci UAV, which made it possible to determine the possibility of coordinating the actions of the two aircraft,” reads the statement.

Serial production of Bayraktar Kizilelma, which will be presented as part of the TEKNOFEST-2023 technology festival in Istanbul (April 27-May 1), is scheduled for 2024.

Bayraktar Kizilelma UAV, as well as the Bayraktar TB3 strike UAV, are capable of using short runways, including being deployed on the flagship of the Turkish Navy TCG Anadolu.

Test flights of Bayraktar Kizilelma from TCG Anadolu are scheduled for 2025.

A Turkish-designed unmanned aircraft has a speed of 630 km/h. The device weighing up to 8.5 tons is capable of carrying a load of 1.5 tons. The aircraft can perform operations offline.
