Kazakhstan calls for deeper economic cooperation among Turkic states

Kazakhstan supports further development of industrial cooperation, trade, agriculture, transport connectivity and digitalization of business processes among Turkic states, Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, said.

According to Report's local bureau, he made the remarks to journalists at an extraordinary meeting of the heads of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) in Astana.

Karimsakov said that during Kazakhstan's chairmanship of TCCI, representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry of eight countries plan to prepare joint proposals from the business community.

The proposals will be submitted to the upcoming summit of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), scheduled to be held in Türkiye in October.

Karimsakov added that particular attention is being paid to the further institutional development of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
